When access matters as much as space

Open-side containers
An open-side container has doors that swing open along the full length of one side. Instead of reaching past everything from the end, you get a wide, full-height opening to the entire interior at once. Standard containers are 8 feet wide under ISO 668, the international standard that fixes container dimensions, so end-door loading normally means angling everything through a single opening on that 8-foot-wide end. A side that opens changes the math entirely. That makes a real difference when you are:
- Loading long or awkward items that are hard to angle through an end door
- Reaching tools, parts, or inventory all day without climbing inside
- Using the container like a shelved supply room with everything in view
- Working a tight spot where you can pull alongside but not up to the end
Double-door containers
A double-door, or tunnel, container has doors on both ends. You can load from either side or pass straight through, which helps when:
- You want to load from one end and unload from the other
- The container is placed so only one end is easy to reach
- You are organizing the container into front-to-back sections
- Two crews or vehicles need access at the same time

How to choose
